Hello, my name is Robin Castillo and I am the owner of Federal Benefits Eagle Training, LLC. My company provides a unique style of training to all federal employees in preparing for their retirement no matter how many years you may have in federal service. We also provide an intense comprehensive course in Workers' Compensation.
About myself, I retired in the Winter of 2017 with 25 years of federal service with the Department of Justice and Defense. I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, a Master's in Organizational Leadership Development and 18 years as a Federal Benefits Instructor.
As a retired Federal employee in looking back there were many things that I wish I would have handled differently. We are often taught the bare basics, or taking tips from co-workers and or attending benefit courses where the trainer does not delve into what we really need to know and understand. I have designed our training seminars to be transparently relaxed to help federal employees to make informed decisions.
Federal Benefits Eagle Training instructors provide intense comprehensive training. All instructors have a federal background and experience. Our company incorporates non-traditional learning styles as well with straightforward discussions and sharing,
There are a lot of retirement seminars that are offered by good companies and knowledgeable instructors. Many training companies offer live or recorded online learning that is often fragmented and does not begin to address the most relevant detailed information that is crucial in the retirement planning process. Generally, you have to r0utinely sign up for different courses on different days and months in order to collect the information that is needed.
Most of these training companies sell outside products and services, we do not . The Federal Benefits Eagle Training format is structured to provide you with all the current information that's available to confidently prepare you for your federal retirement journey.
All attending federal employees are encouraged to bring their spouse to one of our Pre-Retirement planning seminars as a guest, upon agency approval and space permitted.
